• Investigate or have the carrier investigate questionable claims, and those involving prolonged loss of time and/or high medical costs.
• Provide you with a list of Medical Providers in your area that will give you preferential treatment.
• Analyze your experience rating data and confirm its accuracy, ensuring that you receive the highest credits.
• Perform activity checks on employees out on workers compensation who may be working or no longer disabled.
• Guide you to implement the most cost-effective small claim payment procedure.
• Assist you in understanding the billings to arrange the best payment plan and review deposit premium bills for proper manual rates, classifications, and estimated payrolls.
• Prepare you for hearings at the Workers' Compensation Board where your attendence is necessary, and attend the hearings with you in all cases involving testimony.
• Notify you of manual rate changes as published by the Rating Board and provide you with the codes you need (compared to prior years).
• Continually review reserves on all claims and negotiate to reduce inappropriate reserves to ensure the highest experience rating credit; Follow up on all requests to limit employers' liability through the many provisions within the workers compensation law.
• Assist you in preparing for audits to ensure that the proper classifications are being used and any overtime credit is being applied.
• Provide you with Employers Report of Incident Forms (C-2's), Accident Investigation and Supervisor Report forms.
• Visit your premises for safety consultations and training of your staff in the identification of safety hazards.
• Assist you in developing effective Safety Programs to reduce your Workers' Compensation rates.
